Rachel Stubbing September 2017 – We did the rugby run yesterday and had a brilliant time! As 2 none runners with a 5 and 6 year old it was a bit daunting pulling up and seeing the obstacles (not knowing that the worst ones were hidden!!) but we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. My only complaint would be that there were certain obstacles with huge queues and whilst we didn’t mind the short waits (they were quite a welcome rest!) some queues were 10 minutes long which with small, soaking wet children isn’t ideal!

My daughter in particular really enjoyed the course and it has inspired her to not only do the run next year but also take up running as a hobby! Thank you for a great day

Sam Goodacher-Hunt September 2017 – Yesterday was are first time doing the mini military mud run and I can safely say it won’t be our last! There was 9 of us (4 adults & 5 children) they loved it!! They are all very proud of theirselves! A very muddy yet Amazing day with my family! My girls are wanting to book for next year!!

Simon Hodge August 2017 – Excellent time with my two daughters aged 8 & 9, took 2 hours 20 mins to run 5k ( actually 4.1 mile ) through tunnels, over tyres, though mud, under cargo nets, through ponds and much much more. 1000’s of photos on Facebook to look through afterwards and found some superb photos of us. Thanks to all at Mini Military Mud Run for a fantastic day out ~ we shall be back soon.

Tracy Avill July 2017 – It is the 4th mud run I have done with my 8 year old son – he loves it! The obstacles are absolutely fab and change on every event. My son loves his medals and proudly wears his T and buff. Thanks all at mud runners

Steph Beesly August 2016 – Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the awesome family mud run on Sunday! We all had an absolute ball 🙂 The obstacles were excellent – you’ve clearly worked on it really hard since last year, and come up with some great new ideas – thank you! We’re all loudly debating whether our favourite obstacle was the massive slide into the pond near the start, or the thick muddy tunnel towards the end! We loved it.

Ryan August 2016 – Just done the Dunchurch run with my 4 yr old. We had a great time. The best thing we have done together, can’t recommend it highly enough. He is still wearing the medal. He is spoilt by his grand parents and has done lots of trips, but this got talked about the most. Great event. Thanks

Karen Nicholson June 2016 – I just wanted to say that we thoroughly enjoyed Sunday’s run at The Suffering! We’ve done a Wolf Run and wanted something for the kids to enjoy.. and we did a OCR aimed at kids last year, which I have to say was not a patch on yours!! We’re still debating the actual distance… we were told 6.4km on the day, and someone has posted 8.5km on the Suffering facebook page… don’t mind which it is; it was fab!
I don’t know if you choose your mud runs by venue, but this one was brilliant. Gave all the toughness of a Wolf Run, but allowing the kids to do it too. We couldn’t believe it when we rounded the corner to see the 2km marker, and realised that we hadn’t finished after all!!
So, well done; well organised! We’ll be back!

‎Hayley Llewellyn‎ June 2016 – Great event yet again, looking forward to August and just booked October, kids had a great time including my little one (5) who smashed the 5k ( that we are still convinced was MUCH longer lol ) and we met some fab people along the way. Thanks for the memories guys 🙂

Craig Smith April 2016 – Fantastic, for a kids course this really is the best I’ve ever seen. Having done a few adult OCR I can honestly say, this is better than some adult courses. It’s great to see the kids out there having fun in the mud, and well done to all the parents who went round as well. Forget electronic gizmos and ‘I Pads’ etc this is real fun for everyone. So a big thank you and well done to everybody who helped out on the day, in setting up the course, or even just coming up with the ideas, that helped make this a truely great day and experience. Thank you.

Julie Thomas April 2016 – Absolutely brilliant course, and my five year old was helped along by lots of people, the race had such a lovely team Spirit, it was so enjoyable. We loved the obstacles and the length of the course was just the right level of challenge for us. The organisation was amazing, what a great day, thank you for organising it x x x

Gavin Page April 2016 – Wow there is absolutely nothing negative to say about this event. The course was superb, the event village well laid out with everything u need, amazing atmosphere and all the kids out there were all clearly enjoying it and that’s what counts, great job to all that was involved in putting on the event

Stewart Scragg April 2016 – Fantastic event. We brought along around 30 kids and 10 adults who all loved it. Well organised, obstacles just right for kids whilst still challenging enough for the accompanying grown ups to enjoy too. Many thanks from all at Market Bosworth FC.

2016 has got off to a brilliant start by being featured in the Guardians top six obstacle races and mud runs for kids,

“These races are all about the kids – but they let the adults join in too. The medals join together in a jigsaw to keep your wee ones entertained and addicted. The race organisers’ aim is to make the kids’ obstacles just like adults’ ones – and they certainly do that well.” check out the whole article here

We here at Mini Military Mud Run were hugely shocked and grateful to be chosen as Matt Stewart’s top pick in 2015 as published in the OCR mag, and the only kids race to get picked.

Susan Edginton October 2015 – Fantastic family fun. My family and our friends really enjoyed this and we will be back for more in 2016 I’m sure!! The organisers and marshalls were all really helpful and supportive. Great event that I’m recommending to all my friends with mud hungry children!!

David Rymell October 2015 – Great event! Really well-organised with lovely, friendly people. I took our 4-yr old round the 2k and my wife continued on the 5k with our 6-yr old. Both boys loved it! Great obstacles and a fantastic pre- and post-event village to chill out in. Well done to all involved.

Jennie Wood October 2015 – Took a 5 year old and a 6 year old. They loved it and got an experience what an OCR race is. It’s very well put together and you can see the hard work that goes into creating the course. Could not fault it. Everyone works hard and helps to encourage the children all the way round.

Carrie Blenkinsop October 2015 – What a fantastic day ! Mud mud and more mud . Kids loved it and I ran the last wave with the truly amazing family of Mia . She did every obstacle and smiled and laughed the whole way . The military mud run helpers and support were amazing. Can’t wait for the next run . Thank you ️xxx

Lisa Foots July 2015 – Friendly, well organised day for the kids!
